How To Step Into The Flow

In The Flow

By now, most people would have already known what the flow is all about. For the un-studied, to be in the flow is to be in that state that grows from non-resistance. It happens when we allow ourselves to go with the flow of events and accept the gifts it brings.

To prepare for it, we need to be clear about what we want. With that frame of mind, we need to stay open and be receptive to receive the gifts that flow our way.

We also need to follow the path of whatever it is that makes us happy and to start trusting ourselves.

Getting Ready

The first thing to do is to empty yourself, to let go of everything. Let your problems go, let your preoccupations go, let your thoughts and feelings go.

As you empty yourself, be prepared to welcome and accept all of your life’s experiences. This includes all that you think is good as well as those you feel are bad. For now, completely do the welcome, the emptying and allowing.

Moving Into the Flow

In the process of emptying yourself, you move into the flow. From the source (you), it moves into your persona, through your body and finally into your life.

The flow will contain a dream where all your deepest hopes and desires become true. Normally, you are the only missing ingredient in that dream.

In the flow of the moment, you are now able to step into that dream and it becomes manifest in your life.

Inside the Flow

This time, take some time to connect with your physical body. Welcome the connection and express your gratitude.

You are more than your physical body now, however temporary. While in the body, know that it is your center of power. For a few moments, move out of your head and connect with your body.

Sharing the Feeling

Experts had been saying that most of us had been into the flow, at one time or another. The feelings and the experiences have been universal.

Two of the more familiar sensations are the feeling of exhilaration and the peacefulness. There is also a universal feel that somehow a larger and greater power is out there sharing the feeling with us.

Permanent Flow

Is it possible to have a life where the flow is the rule, not the exception? Is there a way to have the flow at all times regardless of our place, time, or our circumstances?

We always assume that our circumstances are not of our making. We also assume that we need to get rid of these unwanted things or at least avoid or manage them out of our way.

Cause and Effect

There is a nagging suspicion among some gurus that there is a purpose to everything that happens around us, the good, the bad and the indifferent.

It had been suggested sometime ago that we are the real cause of the miseries and bad vibrations and some of the outright evil things. In the same vein, the elders reasoned out that we can just as easily create a true loving world.

The concrete example is the demonstration that we, including the most ordinary of us, can step into the flow at will. We can also enjoy the benefits provided by those accompanying moments of  synchronicity.
